The winds today are going to be nuclear and very unsafe for flying. So the task committee has come up with something incredibly fun and interesting. Our athletes are headed to Capital Reef National park and going to pound out a race on foot to decide who is going to make the podium. In the Adventure Division we have a 4 way tie in first place going into today and in the Pro Division 5 points separates 1st through 5th place. No slacking today, everything is on the line!
The course for the Pros is 32 km and for the Adventure it’s just a bit shorter. We put up two resupplies on course but for the most part everyone racing just blew on by and didn’t even stop for water. Head down! These guys are all about 5 km from the finish at this point:
