Task deadline just ticked over at 1730. This is when the scoring stops. Matt Dadam relaunched and just top landed Monroe I believe in 6th place just before the deadline. Will it be enough for the win? None of the Pro Division athletes were able to make goal on a tricky day but the Colorado contention in the Adventure Division showed their collective muscle to the very end- Carl Marvin, Jared Scheid and Taylor Rice have all made goal and newcomer Pam Kinnaird made her first goal today! We think there’s about 10 Adventure pilots in goal and I’ll update that as soon as I can confirm. Stellar performance on a tough task. Incredible work. The overall winner of the event- the WEATHER! This place REDROCKS!

The winds today are going to be nuclear and very unsafe for flying. So the task committee has come up with something incredibly fun and interesting. Our athletes are headed to Capital Reef National park and going to pound out a race on foot to decide who is going to make the podium. In the Adventure Division we have a 4 way tie in first place going into today and in the Pro Division 5 points separates 1st through 5th place. Everything is on the line!
