Bill Belcourt somehow figured out a way. As several pilots have hit the deck on the way to goal at the Panguitch airport Bill got out front and stayed there and has just saved his feet from additional blisters. Matt Dadam has just landed a few hundred meters short, preserving […]

Well it’s gone from gangbusters to breaking up the gang. Those pushing out to TP 5 left with good height but they are pushing a west head wind and coming to the TP with very little height to work with. William Pardis and Bill Belcourt tagged the turnpoint at nearly […]
The Pro Division pilots are all within less than 8 km from the lead to the back. They all had to land at the third tp near the Junction launch and by the time I raced up to see if they needed anything just about all of them were back […]
What heart! After taking to the skies first our first bad ass Adventure pilots made quick work of the course, spiraled down to the last turnpoint and RAN to goal! Erik Klammer was in such a hurry he didn’t even pack up- over the shoulder and down the road! Jared […]
The Adventure pilots continue to show their winged brethren how it’s done and took to the sky first and instantly boomed out, to much yahoo’s and hollering. This task is going to be completed FAST! Keep an eye on the live tracking, this is full bar racing at its best!

The task committee has decided to start the day at the Bullion Falls trailhead. Athletes will then have to climb 1200 meters and 8km to the Mt Edna Launch. The Adventure Division task is 39 km that takes pilots from Mt Edna out to a big cylinder NNW of Junction […]
What a day! I saw an awful lot of smiles and stoke today and I think we can all safely say Monroe is an epic place (those colors!) to hold a hike and fly event. Scores will be announced shortly for the Pro class. It’s 11 pm and just got […]
It’s getting dark and cold and it’s now a foot race. Matt Dadam is still in the lead heading north towards Monroe. Logan and Cedar are chasing hard in 2nd and 3rd. This should be a fun final showdown for Day1!
It’s 6:40 pm and one more Pro pilot has a chance to reach the TP and fly off- but he has to land by 7 pm. Can Jesse Williams do it?
